This is genuine, natural agarwood, free from any chemical treatments. Though cultivated rather than wild, it retains the same benefits and offers a pleasant, relaxing aroma just like wild agarwood.
A leaf is picked from the mother tree and grafted onto agarwood rootstock. Once it takes root, it becomes the so-called best 'Zhang Spoon' variety of grafted Qinan. In China's thousands of years of history, there has probably never been a leaf as expensive as this. Although it is very costly, it is still difficult to find leaf today. Currently, a six-year-old Zhang Spoon Qinan tree has already been speculated to be worth over a million. Zhang Spoon is a star variety, known as the 'King of Green Qinan Agarwood,' named after its leaves that resemble a soup spoon. Its fragrance is very distinctive, with a natural aroma that has a strong penetrating power, fresh and natural, with a pure texture that can more quickly permeate the air when burned as incense, creating a comfortable feeling. Its resin formation characteristics show fewer wormholes compared to other varieties of agarwood, making it more precious and rare. It has great value for both collection and appreciation.
Currently, 99% of agarwood available on the market is cultivated through grafting and careful cultivation. Real wild agarwood is now largely protected or in the hands of collectors and auction houses! The proportion of wild agarwood circulating in the market is at most 1/1000.
If a seller claims their agarwood is wild and it is priced below thousands of dollars per gram, it is unlikely to be authentic wild agarwood. Additionally, if agarwood is priced at just tens of dollars or a few dollars per gram, it is likely chemically processed with abandoned part (part that has not form oil) of the tree
Growing agarwood through grafting to achieve resin formation takes between 3 to 8 years. While the
cost of saplings is relatively low, the process requires significant time, effort, and meticulous care for proper nurturing and cultivation.
Agarwood, is a fragrant resinous wood that is highly valued for its unique aroma. It is highly valued for its richcomplex, and woody aroma, which is often described as earthy, sweet, and slightly smoky.
The demand for agarwood has led to overharvesting, resulting in a decline in wild agarwood-producing trees and the classification of some species as endangered. Due to its scarcity, agarwood has become one of the most expensive natural raw materials globally, often fetching high prices in the market.
🌟 This agarwood bracelet comes with natural agarwood shavings of the original tree for buyers to
